Beurer BY90 Smart Bluetooth Baby ScalesNHS guidelines suggest you should have your baby weighed by a health professional once a month up to the age of 6 months but at times, you may feel you want to check their development a little more regularly. The Beurer BY90 Baby Scale is much like those you'll see at your local clinic. This accurate weighing scale has a curved weighing surface to help keep baby safe and feeling secure and non-slip rubber feet. The clear LCD shows baby's weight in kg, lb or oz and uses large digits for ease-of-reading while you remain attentive to your little one. What makes the BY90 different is the integrated Bluetooth and connection to the BabyCare app. This allows you to store and monitor your baby's weight measurements over time on your smartphone and even share them with your health professional. You can also manually enter your baby's height, sleep times, nutritional information and nappy patterns, giving you an electronic diary of your little one's development. If you choose not to use the app, the baby scale has an integrated memory that will record the last 10 measurements for recall should you need them. Understanding that babies have a tendency to wriggle, especially when you need them to keep still, the BY90 baby scale has a manual hold function as well as an automatic hold function; if your wriggler won't hold still long enough for the scale to recognise his/her weight, you can activate the hold function quickly, the moment you achieve stillness, to gain an accurate reading. It even has a tare function, allowing you to add a towel or baby's favourite blanket for their comfort without distorting the measurement. And whilst you have your bundle of joy in position, you can even take the opportunity to measure their height easily by using the integrated retractable tape measure.
