Summer Thornton is an incredibly talented artist who loves to draw on unexpected sources of inspiration. After studying at the Norwich School of Art and Design, she moved to London in 2000 to really let her themes run wild.
New York Skyline is every bit as distinctive as the iconic location its named after. A bold representation of Thornton’s influences, everything from The Statue of Liberty to The Empire State Building can be seen in a subtle combination of graffiti and watercolour styles. The palette blends shades of pink, red and other warm tones in harmony, and it’s all wrapped up in a wooden frame for added sophistication.
